Our little mans favorite thing to do at the park like many other kids is to SWING!!! He would swing all day if we let him. So we knew what we had to build next... It was a simple idea with the single wood posts and an aesthetic bracket system at the top that showed the industrial looking steel. But with only smaller children in mind, we opted not to put supports for the clean look. Now before you say, "Hey, that thing is gonna fall over, it has no angle support", no it's not. Its 32" in the ground with multiple bags of concrete and only smaller children use it. BUT. We will be adding angle supports on the backside for better long-term stability for adult use! Cheers!

How Tall is the Swing?
After putting the posts 32" deep in the ground, the swingset is just about 9ft tall.
What was the total cost?
Total Cost on this including an added $60 in bolts and nuts was $339 + tax.

How long did Install take?
About 2 hours the first day for measuring and setting posts. Waited 24hrs to let concrete set then rest of install took 2.5 hours.

What about angle supports for the swing?
We built this with the idea that only small children would use it. With that being said it works great without angle supports for small kids 10 and under. We do plan to add supports for added strength when we adults swing on it.
